Nazi Germany Occupied Monaco and Deported Its Jewish Residents

Although Monaco was officially neutral, Italy occupied it in 1942 and Nazi Germany seized control in September 1943 after Italy's armistice. During the occupation, around 90 Jewish residents were arrested and deported to Nazi concentration camps; only a handful survived.
