T. rex Had the Most Powerful Bite of Any Land Animal Ever
Tyrannosaurus rex could bite with a force of approximately 35,000–57,000 newtons — enough to crush bone and rival the bite of large crocodilians. Studies of bite marks on Triceratops bones confirm T. rex routinely consumed bone marrow. Despite its fearsome jaws, T. rex had tiny arms that were nonetheless strong enough to lift around 180 kg each.
