The Tiger's Nest Monastery Clings Perilously to a Cliffside
Paro Taktsang, or Tiger's Nest, is a sacred Buddhist site built into the side of a cliff 900 meters (3,000 feet) above the Paro Valley. Legend says Guru Rinpoche flew to this spot on the back of a tigress.
