With a staggering number of private helicopters and heliports, São Paulo's wealthy residents frequently use air transport to navigate the city's notorious traffic congestion. This makes its urban airspace one of the busiest for rotary-wing aircraft globally.

While other cities had experimental or temporary electric tram lines, Sarajevo launched its permanent, full-time electric tram service in 1885, predating many major European capitals in embracing this modern transport.
