Armenia Has Its Own Ancient Megalithic Site, Often Called "Armenian Stonehenge."
Zorats Karer, or Karahunj, is an archaeological site with over 200 large stone monoliths, some with holes, dating back possibly 7,500 years. Its purpose is debated, with theories ranging from an ancient observatory to a burial ground.
