Biography

Born Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu in Skopje, North Macedonia, her family roots were Albanian. She is celebrated as a significant figure connecting Albania to global humanitarian efforts and is a source of national pride.

Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, initially trained by the Ottomans, later abandoned them to lead a rebellion against their rule for over two decades, becoming a symbol of Albanian resistance and independence.
