Gombey is a traditional dance form with African, Indigenous, and British influences, characterized by rhythmic drumming, elaborate masks, and colorful costumes adorned with peacock feathers. Performances are a highlight of holidays and festivals.

This small bronze statue of a peeing boy is regularly dressed in elaborate costumes, which are displayed in the nearby City Museum. The tradition of dressing him dates back to the 17th century, celebrating various events and professions.
