The Sagittarius Arm Is A Major Spiral Arm Of The Milky Way
Our solar system is located near the inner edge of the Orion Arm, which itself lies between the larger Sagittarius Arm and Perseus Arm of the Milky Way. This arm is a significant region of star formation and contains many young, bright stars and nebulae.
